Sarah Perez

I am 33 years old, a wife, a mother of 4 children, and sister of a U.S. Marine. I was born and raised in East Tennessee. From the age of 12 I started volunteering with churches and non-profit organizations. Helping others and bringing the diversities of the world together has always been my goal in life. I come from a very diverse family so I am no stranger to languages, cultures, and ethnicities. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a servant to my community and country in some way.

We moved to Starkville, MS in 2018 to open the Gondolier Italian Restaurant. Upon our arrival to this great city we immediately felt welcomed by everyone we came into contact with. During our time at the Gondolier we became friends with many of the first responders here. In April of 2020 due to Covid19 we had to close our doors. So over that summer I had some time to think what I wanted to do and it occurred to me that it was time to follow my dreams and what better place to do so than the beautiful City of Starkville.
