Do I have to appear in court?
If you post a cash bond (pay your citation) for your basic traffic citation prior to your court date, you do not have to appear in court. However, you must appear for all other matters. Examples of basic traffic citations include:
• Speeding
• Running a stop sign / red light
• Careless driving
• No or an expired tag
• No seatbelt / child restraint

*** If you have bonded through a bonding company, you MUST appear at your scheduled date and time. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest.***
