Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I sign up?
Registration is available online at www.starkvilleregistration.com from January 1st – February 28th.
How do I find out what team my child is on?
In order to ensure proper communication between parents and coaches, PLEASE provide a current/working telephone number AND email address on your child’s registration form. Coaches are asked to initially establish contact by telephone Coaches will call his/her team members within 72 hours of receiving his/her roster (Approximately completed on March 22nd). If you do not get a phone call from a coach within 72 hours of March 22nd, you may contact our office at 662-323-2294 to inquire about your child’s placement on a team.
How often will my child have practice?
SPRD will attempt to schedule up to THREE (3) pre-season practices for each team (as field space/weather permits) to be held at the McKee Park baseball fields. These are to be scheduled through the SPRD Athletics Office.
When will my child receive his uniform?
SPRD will have uniform jerseys for the coach to pick up before the first scheduled game. Typically, coaches pick up his/her team uniforms the day of the first scheduled game and will issue uniforms (according to size indicated during registration) prior to game time on the first game day.
What do I do if my child’s shirt/pants do not fit?
Our first suggestion is to make sure you were issued the size that was ordered for your child (which will be reflected on the team roster that is issued to the coach). Next, see if someone on your child’s team could possibly trade in order to fulfill the needs of a uniform for each child. Better a shirt/pant be too big than too small. Lastly, if you are still dissatisfied with your child’s uniform, please contact our office with your child’s name, team name, and desired size at 662-323-2294. Please allow up to 14 business days for a replacement to arrive. We strongly urge that you make absolute certain of the size your child will need and place that size on your registration form.
How do the rules differ among age divisions?
SPRD has updated the rules and regulations for the Youth Boys Baseball program. We strongly suggest you make yourself familiar with these rules and regulations. You may download a copy of the current rules and regulations by clicking 2020 YBSB Rules & Regulations.
