Training Division
Responsibilities
Oversees the training and educational programs
of the Starkville Fire Department. The training officer coordinates
the training and safety functions of the department and provides
assistance and support to other department functions. These responsibilities
include scheduling all training and educational programs, maintaining
the department's safety program, helping in investigating all working
fires, coordinating all medical needs and requirements of the fire
department, and assisting the fire chief and other departmental
personnel in an advisory or support capacity.
